Leadership Development Program
Recognizing the need to sustain a qualified and capable pool of members to serve on committees, as committee chairs, or officer positions, the MASFAP Leadership Development Program was created to develop the next generation of leaders for the Association. Through this program, the selected participants will acquire the skills and familiarity to ensure the ongoing viability of MASFAP and its ability of effectively delivering mission-centered training and benefits to its members. This program also represents an exceptional professional development opportunity for those seeking advancement and leadership training in the financial aid profession. The MASFAP Leadership Development Program is open to institutional members interested in increasing their involvement in the area of association leadership at the state or regional level. The program begins in January and convenes in November at the annual conference. Members will actively participate in monthly meetings, which will vary between in-person and Zoom. In addition, members will engage in advocacy and legislative research and activities. Applications open in the fall and selections for the subsequent year are made by early December.
